I know I usually publish this column on Mondays. But I had a severe migraine on Sunday and it’s been lingering for days. So I’m a bit behind on blog posts. But I’m so grateful for Jack Jack. He might seem crazy when barks at all the people not wearing masks outside but when he’s inside, he is the sweetest nurse in the world. I’m also beyond grateful for my first magazine feature on my Sydne Summer collection. I’m still pinching myself that the editors of People magazine chose my Pink Dot face mask as their pick of the week! It’s in this week’s issue, with their exclusive on Katy Perry’s pregnancy. #1 Instagram reels
I’m not going lie. At first I did not want Instagram Reels to come out. I just was getting overwhelmed with the thought of creating more content. But once I thought of my new series, I became super excited! I decided to do short-form video to show how you can easily take clothing you wear inside to the outside world with just a few accessories. You can read more about the “Inside Out” series here.

#2 comfy dress
I’ve talked about this maxi dress a few times. But I added it to this week’s faves because a) I wear it non-stop. And b) it’s on major sale. It’s just the perfect lightweight, easy piece to throw on when you’re lounging around the house or if you have to run out for some quick errands. I bought a few for a friend and she’s equally obsessed as I am.

#3 Tie dye kicks
I’ve never gotten so many compliments on sneakers in my life! I’ve worn the white version of these sneakers for years. So I thought it would be fun to add the tie dye print into the mix. They add a pop of color to any outfit. And tie dye just makes everything happier. I don’t know about you, but I could sure use extra happiness in my life right now!

#4 dry hair
I often go to sleep with my hair wet. I used to just put a towel over my pillow… until I discovered this. It’s so genius! It’s a pillow case made from a microfiber towel so you can dry your hair while you’re sleeping without getting your pillow wet. And since it fits your pillow, you don’t get those creases you normally would if you just put a towel over your pillow. So smart!

#5 friendship thriller
I loved both of Sarah Pekkanen’s books I read. And this one did not disappoint. We’ve all had the feeling of wanting to belong. But for the main character of this novel, Shay, this feeling runs extra deep. And it gets her into deep trouble when she meets a charismatic sister duo known as the Moore sisters. They’re successful, beautiful and smart. But they have a very dark secret that drags Shay down as she becomes their so called friend. This book is full of twists and kept me guessing until the very end.
