I hope you’re having a great weekend! I’ve mostly been working all weekend but I did get the chance to go out a little and swing by the mall. I haven’t been out much and it was nice to feel a bit of normalcy… with my face mask on, of course. I even found a new favorite store that has me thinking about redecorating my space! Here are some other recent faves…
5 THINGS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
#1: corduroy love
Now that it’s finally starting to feel like fall, I’m embracing some of my favorite fall fabrics. Corduroy has always been one of those materials that makes me feel like I’m really living in the new season. I’ve been pairing my corduroy face masks with all my casual outfits to give them a fall vibe. I have three corduroy options in my face mask collection: navy, wine and tan. Get ready to keep seeing them a lot for a safe chic style in the upcoming weeks!
I stumbled upon Whom while walking around Westfield Century City. They recently opened their shop in the mall and I was instantly drawn to their gorgeous furniture. After researching the brand I’m just bummed I didn’t know about them before! Their custom designs are so chic and I love their sustainable approach to furniture. Walking around the showroom I kept envisioning how I’d want to re-design my space!
I’ve been wearing this cardigan for over a year now. It’s a splurge but it’s one of those pieces that are totally worth it. Not only does it work for every season but it just screams luxury. When I wore it most recently with jeans my friend not only commented how cute it was, but also said it looks very expensive. Some pieces are just worth it. I like it layered over tees and worn buttoned up with nothing underneath to show a little more skin.
Netflix’s new show with Sara Paulson, Ratched, received many mixed reviews. But I personally loved it, binging on the entire season in two days. They say it’s a sort-of prequel to the Nurse Ratched character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, but I feel like it’s a more of a story on a Nurse Ratched-type character. And the character has the most incredible fashion! I haven’t had my retro fashion fix in a show since Mrs. Maisel. So I was thrilled to find one, although this show is definitely like a season of American Horror Story. But the acting is superb and the cinematography is beautiful. Plus, it’s Halloween month. So I see nothing wrong with a little (ok, a lot!) spooky.
In case you haven’t been able to tell by now, I have an obsession with the Western trend. These booties are a modern take on the country style in a flattering design. I love wearing them just as much with jeans as I do with dresses. In fact, I love them so much I’m trying to decide which color to get them in next!
