Off-the-Shoulder Ruffles in Central Park

Whenever I have time while I’m in New York, I love taking a stroll through Central Park. I find it so magical how it completely transforms every season… getting golden in the fall, turning into a snow-kissed wonderland in the winter and blooming in pastels during the spring. I actually had zero time this past trip so was thrilled when one of my shoots landed me smack in the middle of Central Park for summer.

For those of you who are wondering if I normally walk through parks in heels, the answer is no. I did this time because of the shoot I was in before taking these pics. But I was wearing flats earlier in the day while racing around the city. That’s what I love about this combo. It’s so great for day to night! All you need a off-the-shoulder blouse (this one is only $11!) and stretchy jeans (these are seriously the comfiest ever!). For day you can wear sandals or wedges. Then slip into a heel for night. I’ve been on a lace-up sandal kick as of late but any heel works.
