I hope you had a great weekend! I worked all weekend but it was really fun. We shot in a gorgeous location Saturday and I can’t wait to share the photos! This week, I’m heading to Dallas on a work trip, and will definitely be brining some of the items below. So get ready to see more of them on my Insta Stories!
5 THINGS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
#1: cotton comfort
I’m beyond impressed with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS cotton collection. It’s full of super comfy bras and underwear that feel so lightweight on the body, perfect as we head into warmer months!
My favorites are the t-shirt bra and cotton thong. They come in various colors, and you can mix and match the styles.
#2: Travel essential
My friend Lindsay is a genius! She created a serviceable style brand full of items I never knew I needed but now cannot live without. First, it was a a little clip to carry my hats called TopTote. Now, she came out with a laundry bag that is so simple yet so incredibly helpful.
It has two zipped sides in one pouch. You can pack your clean underwear in the “wear me” section and then put them in the “wash me” section when they’re dirty. I can finally say goodbye to using hotel laundry bags when I travel!
My lips have been crazy chapped this winter. So I was thrilled to find a beauty product that exfoliates and moisturizes! The Glow Recipe Lip Pop has just the right amount of scrub as you apply, removing any dryness from your lips. It’s super moisturizing and has a little bit of pink tint, like you just ate a watermelon popsicle. You can keep applying to increase the color. Plus, it’s smells delicious!
These have been my favorite white sneakers for years. I have a slightly narrow foot and the streamlined shape is just perfect. It also looks more feminine that other bulkier sneakers, which lets me wear them with skirts and dresses as well.
I’ve never been so moved by a book before. I generally stick to light reads or thrillers as an escape. And I’ll admit that after seeing that The Light We Lostwas described as “an emotional roller coaster,” I was nervous reading this two weeks into a breakup. But I’m so glad I did. The story follows the life of a young woman who’s future is changed by a man she meets on September 11. It’s a sentimental tale of love and heartbreak as she goes from a recent graduate to a mother torn between two loves. I finished the last chapter in tears as I reflected on my own experiences of love and loss.
